We collect a child’s first and last name solely for legitimate business purposes, including membership identification, safety verification, and execution of required liability waivers.

Charlotte’s Place does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All information related to minors is provided by a parent or legal guardian, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Waiver & Membership Data Retention

Charlotte’s Place collects and stores waiver and membership information, including a child’s first and last name and parent or guardian acknowledgment, for legal, safety, and insurance purposes.

  • Waiver records are retained for a reasonable period of time consistent with Texas liability, insurance, and recordkeeping requirements.

  • Membership and waiver data may be retained after a membership ends in order to:

    • Respond to legal or insurance inquiries

    • Maintain safety records

  • Upon request, and when legally permissible, personal data may be deleted or anonymized once retention requirements have been satisfied. Waiver data is securely stored and accessed only by authorized personnel.

All payment transactions are processed through secure third-party payment providers (such as Wix Payments or Stripe). Charlotte’s Place does not store or have access to full credit or debit card numbers.
